Apprentice Sewing Machinist - 14579
• To operate the sewing machine safely and to procedure.
• Carry out thread changeovers, needle replacements and simple operator maintenance tasks.
• Carry out Pre-use safety checks on the machine.
• Producing good quality sewn vinyl-based products: - pole wrap, clamp covers and basic shaped items.
• Adhere to the Safe systems of work.
• Work to production schedule using web-based T card system. Maintaining high standards at all times.
• Maintain quality checks to ensure products are of a high standard
• Ensure volume of work matches needs of the business.
• Gain an exceptional knowledge of the products and how they are manufactured.
• Become self-reliant on tasks
• Follow work plans exactly
• Keep yourself updated on our policies and procedures through the online portal.
