Level 3 Apprenticeship - Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning
Lyng Hall School are looking for an inspirational sports apprentice who has a passion for inspiring children to fall in love with sport and to enjoy being active.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced staff to learn the interpersonal and management skills needed to work with young people and adults whilst also being given the opportunity to share your own expertise and think creatively about how to help the school move forward with PE.
Duties:
Support the social, emotional, mental health, wellbeing and personal care of all learners in line with organisational policy and procedures Promote engagement and teach learning behaviours to support the development of independent learners Understand the specific needs of learners and use strategies to support all learners to achieve their learning goal Establish positive relationships with learners and promote positive behaviours, consistently applying the school’s behaviour policyTraining:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport. Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning Standard, 18 months practical with an additional 2 months End Point Assessment period.
Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date.
Training Outcome:
Previous apprentices have used the qualification as UCAS points to go to university and 3 previous apprentices have moved on to more advanced roles within the school.

Working Hours :
37.5 hours per week (term-time only) 8:15am – 4:15pm (including 30 minutes break) This can be flexible as long as 37.5 hours are completed per week.
