Carpentry Apprentice

Obtaining carpentry skills by watching and assisting carpenters on site with general carpentry works, such as door install, architraves, skirting, panelling etc Learning the general procedures of working on a live Tier 1 site whilst in a team, ensuring the principle contractors’ rules and requirements are adhered to, in terms of health and safety, housekeeping, PPE etc

Training:
Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
If successful, the ideal career progression would be to continue as a carpenter gaining experience, moving on to supervisory / management

 

Employer Description:
We are a multi-division company, comprising of 3 business units, such as dry lining, joinery and washrooms. Stortford Interiors is predominantly drywall based and Parkrose is joinery and washrooms. This vacancy is for the joinery division within Parkrose.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, Shifts to be confirmed.
