Adult Care Worker Apprentice (Moorlands Care Home)

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Duties include, but are not restricted to:

To assist the daily routine of the care home To assist residents in all aspects of their personal care To assist in activities To maintain good levels of housekeeping To maintain good levels of hygiene To assist residents with their mobility needs To assist residents during mealtimes, this may include serving meals or supporting the individual to eat and drink Some recording of information into appropriate documents Maintain confidentiality

Training:

The training will be delivered across a 15 month period. Six hours per week will be allocated to developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours through on site training, self study/ research and drop in sessions at the training centre. A full training plan will be provided at enrolment, bespoke to the individuals needs based on a vocational initial assessment.

Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship Full-time employment with further training

Working Hours :
