Early Years Educator Apprentice
Work alongside two Ofsted childminders caring for a group of children aged 0-10 with most of the children under 5
Engage children in educational activities and play to support their development
Perform typical childcare duties such as feeding, changing, and supervising children
To have a small group of key worker children to assess and track based on the EYFS framework
To complete regular and up to date required training such as Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene
Help maintain a safe and clean environment for the children which would include some cleaning duties e.g. sweeping/mopping
Up-to-date qualifications in Paediatric first aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene would also be desirable but not essential as these can be completed upon training
Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Appreticeship Standard:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studyingTraining Outcome:

Employer Description:
Provides care for children 0-11 years of age in a home environment. Years of experience, up to date training records etc, experience with SEN children, mother myself. Very warm and welcoming setting, a home away from home where children can play, explore and learn.
Working Hours :
we are currently looking to expand our setting and move premises accordingly so flexibility would be needed. Hours would increase over time with the potential of 3/5 days a week once established in our new setting.
