Customer Service Apprentice

Daily tasks will involve:

Communicating with customers - by taking orders. Clearing tables. Serving food and drinks to the customers table. Taking cash and card payments. Making drinks.

Training:
College teaching will take place at South Devon College (Vantage Point, Paignton), where you will attend one day a week.

Training Outcome:

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, there will be an oppourtunity to work with us full time.

Employer Description:
Cantina was started in the summer of 2016 by family members Kate, Queenie, Jen, Barry and Charlie. "We wanted to create a good place to come to in Paignton.The sort of place that our own family would like to come to." We see families and groups of friends returning year after year which is lovely. We thought we'd open a nice place of our own but soon realised that Cantina's not ours... it's yours!" Cantina believe that food is reared or caught locally by small family businesses is our best hope for preventing environmental damage & also helps support local food producers. My team takes this wonderful produce to create a unique & seasonal menu with daily specials. Cantina have live music from local artists every Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon. Wine tastings, quizzes and new years parties are also a must!

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday (weekly hours to be confirmed).
