Nursing Associate Apprentice

The apprentice will:

Deliver high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional dependent on setting) with a focus on promoting health and independence Have proficient attitudes and behaviours compatible with NHS Values Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professional's dependent on setting

Training:
Apprentice will complete Level 5 Nursing Associate Apprenticeship qualification Foundation Degree approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council in line with the requirements specified in the Nursing Associates Programme Standards (NMC 2018) which includes the mandatory protected learning time and a minimum 460 hours of external practice placements

Training and training location to be confirmed.



Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will be guaranteed a position as a Nursing Associate within the trust. This however is not guaranteed to be within the same service you completed your apprenticeship on.

Working Hours :
Shifts will be determined by the service/ward manager but as it is a 24/7 service shift/rota work will be a requirement of this role.
