Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship

Understanding processes, implementing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing services with a focus on adding value.

Throughout the first year of the apprenticeship, you will spend valuable time within all departments of the business, including but not limited to, Production, Process, Warehouse, Printing & Q C Lab.

Training will involve all aspects of Lean manufacturing, including Health & Safety , Environmental, Production, Communication, Quality Systems, Performance Measurements & Problem Solving.



Training:

Training will take place at our premises in Whaley Bridge, with sessions every 2-3 weeks during the working day. Our training provider Qualitrain are experts in Lean Manufacturing and have been delivering this course for 5 years across many industries in England.



Training Outcome:

During the second year of the apprenticeship, you will spend further time working across various departments within the business. However, your activities will be tailored towards your strengths and preferences, and the businesses requirements.

Dependant on business requirements, your preferred areas of work, and the successful completion of your qualification, the business hopes to be able to offer you opportunities to follow on from your apprenticeship scheme on a permanent contract.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 5.00pm. Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. 1 hour break each day.
