Equine Groom apprentice
The ideal candidate will be willing to work across five days including weekends. Positivity and flexibility is important. The main duties are:
Mucking out and field maintenance – picking up waste, fencing, weed control etc Turning out/brining in horses Feeding, grooming, Changing rugs, tacking up Exercising horses and ponies both ridden and in-hand Lunging Assisting with general running and managing yard duties Assisting with clients events Assisting with lessons i.e. leadingTraining:
You will gain a level 2 apprenticeship qualification in Equine Groom & also an Emergency First Aid qualification. You will need to attend our Duchy Stoke Climsland campus one day a week, with the rest of your working week in the workplace.
Training Outcome:
There may be an option to progress onto the Senior Equine Groom L3 apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Split shifts (days to be confirmed) 7.00am - 9:30am 2:30pm - 4.00pm
