Engineering apprentice

•  Design, install and maintain cost-effective and energy efficient systems for services in buildings, such as water, electricity and gas, climate environments, Net zero 2050

• Identify complex design problems, conducts root-cause failure analyses and anticipate production issues

• Develop innovative design solutions, evaluate options, conduct tests and implement solutions to meet timing, product cost and reliability targets.

• Ability to design a product or component from scratch.

• Modify and finetune existing products to improve their efficiency and usability 

• work through the entire lifecycle of a project from planing and conceptualisation to testing and manufacturing.

• Follow building regulations and health and safety requirements 



Training:

You'll be working towards a Level 6 Building services design engineer (degree) apprenticeship standard delivered by BPP University. This will include Functional Skills training if required.



Training Outcome:

The right candidate could have a variety of options open up after successful completion, such as:

• Securing a promotion

• Accreditation of skills at a higher level

• Gaining a higher salary

Working Hours :
Employee works full time four days of the week with employer and a day with the training provider ,which makes it five days of the week.Monday to thursday 9am to 5pm shifts, may work evenings and weekends and any other day with the training provider
