Rolls-Royce Nuclear Engineering Degree Apprenticeship - Raynesway, UK

Your placement will see you working across different parts of the engineering lifecycle, giving you the opportunity to work in both engineering and manufacturing as well as in-service environments. These placements will be essential for you to gain a wide breadth of experience and develop your fundamental knowledge of engineering.

Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, you’ll be eligible to apply for professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).



Training:

In your first year, you’ll complete an introduction to manufacturing in our new Nuclear Skills Academy. The course will provide you with essential engineering skills in turning, milling, sheet metal and welding. In addition to this, you will start studying towards your BEng degree with the University of Derby, studying modules that will prepare you to start working in industry.

From your second year, you’ll continue your degree while completing placements in different areas of our Submarines business.
