Apprentice Receptionist and Swim Teacher
At First Strokes - Manchester, you will be working towards the Leisure Duty Manager Apprenticeship Level 3, over the duration of 18 months, alongside your daily roles and responsiblities.
Your Roles and Responsibilities will include:
Meet and greet customers, answering calls and dealing with customer enquiries. To advise customers on all aspects of swimming tuition (full training will be given) To assist all customers who have queries, complaints or requiring information in a polite, friendly and helpful manager Dealing with bookings, cash handling, banking and reconciliation in accordance with Company procedures Frequent use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Daily use of Course Pro online booking software (full training will be given) To ensure the effective supervision of customers in the use of the facilities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times To be responsible for the premises security and opening and closing of the building in accordance with company procedures To administer First Aid where suitably qualified to do so, in accordance with company procedures/training To undertake poolside duties - Lifeguarding, assisting and swim teaching. (courses and full training will be provided - NPLQ, Level one and Two Swim teaching) Ensuring the safety of the public and colleagues at all times, including monitoring of pool tests and plant room (courses/full training will be provided - Pool Plant Operators) Ensure the adherence to all regulations and legislation relating to working with childrenTraining Outcome:
Upon completion, there is an opportunity to progress into a Duty Manager position, if a position is available. Ongoing training and development.

Working Hours :
20 hours per week on a shift pattern basis, exact shifts to be confirmed.
