Apprentice Lean-Manufacturing Operative
CNC Competency Development - Achieve competency as a CNC operator, including programming and basic maintenance.
5S and Lean Manufacturing - Engage directly with 5S principles, performing regular audits to drive workplace improvements.
Continuous Improvement Projects - Participate in small-scale improvement projects for hands-on learning and practical application.
CNC Operations Streamlining - Assist in optimizing CNC processes to support Roann’s modernization goals.
Advanced Skills Training - Receive training in cutting and polishing quartz stone, building on CNC expertise
Training:
Working towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship standard. 4 day working week on site, 1 day per week at Print Works Campus / Leeds City College. Apprenticeship hours are 37-40 weekly (TBC).
Training Outcome:
High likelihood of progression to a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Our purpose-built factory has over £2m worth of state-of-the-art stone manufacturing machines and equipment that enable us to fabricate 15,000 worktops per year. In addition, we are proud to have achieved high accreditation with many of the industry’s leading health & safety schemes.
Working Hours :
Mon - Fri - 07:30 - 16:00 (flexibility in exact start/finish time)
