Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Numerate Working within a team environment Liaison with GP surgery and health professionals

Training:
Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:
For the right person following successful completion of the apprenticeship, could lead to full time employment and / or progression to further qualifications.

Working Hours :
Shifts to be confirmed - 40 hours (Between Monday - Saturday).
