Goundworker Apprentice

Key responsibilities:

Provide excavation support to other construction professionals Digging trenches for foundations Installing & removing drainage Laying blocks, pavements, kerbs and driveways Operating plant machinery Clearing construction sites Follow all Health & Safety procedures

Training Outcome:

After a Groundworks apprenticeship, career progression often involves advancing to more specialised roles, such as site supervision or operating heavy machinery. With further training, opportunities in project management can also open, allowing for broader responsibilities in construction projects.
