Solutions Architect Apprentice (Fixed Term Contract)
As a Solutions Architect Apprentice, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll also leverage your architectural design proficiency, systems integration know-how, and command cutting-edge technologies to streamline deployments and drive adaptability across IT landscapes. You’ll also serve as a catalyst for innovation, optimising workflows, enhancing security, and fostering a culture of efficiency.
A day in the life can involve:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams Being the internal voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform technical roadmaps Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices Build technical relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor Supporting and leading projects, having the opportunity to innovate and simplify from Day 1We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are adaptable with a passion for problem-solving and a strong desire to learn and grow. You must be able to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work independently with a proactive, self-starting attitude.

You will gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills whilst working towards the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (IT Pathway) degree. As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You will be set objectives and goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.
You will build your skills over a 42-month period, starting in September. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally. Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Training Outcome:
Alongside extensive development of your technical skills, you will also grow your abilities in crucial complementary areas like organisation, prioritisation, data and problem-solving techniques, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
Once you have successfully completed you will be able to apply for relevant roles across the business.
