Artwork Apprenticeship

Assist in preparing and designing draft illustrations based on customer specifications. Make amendments to existing designs in response to customer feedback. Prepare artwork for print, ensuring files meet production specifications (size, format, etc.). Enhance existing design concepts to meet brand and customer expectations. Collaborate with the Creative Director to create new product ideas for print and digital. Support the eCommerce team with delivering excellent customer service. Produce visually engaging graphics for use across our eCommerce channels.



Training:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship the qualification achieved will be a Level 2 Print Operative, providing a solid foundation for starting a career in print. You will assist in the artwork and production of printed products or components, gaining skills in the physical processes that occur before printing and finishing stages, including the creation of print-ready designs.

This apprenticeship will help you develop foundational skills such as checking customer files for errors, producing customer proofs, and preparing electronic files for print. The training is delivered on-site by BPIF Training, the largest supplier of apprenticeships in the UK print industry.

You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by both A4 Laser Labels and the BPIF. Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit both your own and business needs.
