Apprentice Commis Chef
Assist senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating
Ensure ingredients are properly prepped, washed, and ready for use
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety standards
Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ensuring ingredients are fresh
Follow recipes and assist in creating dishes according to menu standards
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and maintain hygiene standards at all times
Learn and develop new skills from senior chefs to grow within the team
Assist with daily kitchen operations and tasks as assigned
Training:
The Apprentice will work towards achieving the Commis chef Level 2.
The Apprentice will attend Sheffield College, City Campus 1 day per week.
Training Outcome:
Possibility of full time employment on successful completion of apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Normally 8am to 5pm with occasional events shifts which will be roughly 12pm to 9pm.
