Trainee Gardener Apprentice

The Trainee Gardener will be guided by the Head Gardener and will learn all aspects of Horticulture and Viniculture.

Duties will include:

Mowing Edging Planting Weeding Pruning The establishment and maintenance of plants and cultivated areas Clearing and preparing areas Watering and caring for existing plants Tree maintenance and upkeep Hard-landscaping, to include the establishment of hard surfaces and structures in addition to the establishment of plants in cultivated areas Working as a team member and complying with health and safety requirements

Training:

Suffolk New College. Horticulture or Landscape Construction Operative Level 2.

Training Outcome:
Horticulture / Landscape Operative Standard English and Maths (if required) Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Safe use of Pesticides Level 2 Safe Application of Pesticide Using Hand Held Equipment Level 2

Norse Management (UK) is a ship managing company operating from an estate of converted barns situated within grounds.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm. Lunch 12.30pm - 1.30pm plus 2 tea breaks.
