Full Stack Developer
Full Stack Developer Location: Christchurch, Dorset (office-based, 1 day remote per week) Salary: Up to £45,000 - £55,000 per annum About the Role We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing in-house development team. Youll be working on an industry-leading e-commerce and warehouse management platform that powers fulfilment, automation, and real-time data for clients across the UK, Europe, and the USA. As part of a collaborative, agile squad, youll contribute to high-impact projects that directly drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation. From architecting back-end services to developing user-friendly front-end interfaces, youll play a key role in shaping solutions that support both the business and its customers. This role requires a minimum of four days per week on-site at our Christchurch office, with one day remote working available. Key Responsibilities - Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support within the dev team. - Plan, organise, and oversee the execution of software development projects. - Conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and ensure high code quality. - Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Mentor junior developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring timely delivery of quarterly projects. - Stay current with modern development practices, frameworks, and tools. Skills and Experience - Proficient in PHP with good commercial experience - Strong knowledge of Laravel (or similar frameworks). - Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or VueJS) Angular experience is a bonus. - Good understanding of TypeScript and its type system. - Confident working with complex SQL queries for performance optimisation. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and scalable architectures. - Understanding of software methodologies (Agile, Scrum), design patterns, and system security best practices.
