Senior/Principal Ecologist

The role
Due to continued success and strategic growth within the central Queensland renewable energy zone, our client is looking to appoint a Principal Ecologist to design, plan and coordinate teams to deliver investigations and technical reports for impact assessment, ecological surveys, monitoring, bioconditional assessments, as well as weed and protected plant surveys.
You will work with the leadership team to identify opportunities for growth and build on the strong client relationships that have been established over many years.

Criteria
Experience as a Senior or Principal Ecologist in Australia with a demonstrated ability to produce high quality outputs and a knowledge and passion for the renewables sector. You will be comfortable working with key clients and be able to mentor less experienced colleagues.
You will also have / be:

Tertiary qualifications in ecology, biology, zoology or environmental science. Demonstrated ability to collect and interpret ecological and spatial data. Terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience. Excellent research / investigation and written and verbal communication skills. Experienced in budget preparation and delivery of projects. Project management experience. A current driver's license.
