This health service provider offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services within a 79-bed facility supported by a dedicated team of 282 staff members. With around 1,600 surgeries conducted annually across three operating theatres and a four-bed High Dependency Unit, this facility plays a crucial role in delivering essential care to the local community. Position Details
As a Critical Care Registrar, you will have the opportunity to:
Anaesthetics (6 months): Enhance critical care expertise through hands-on experience in airway management and procedural skills in a dynamic, supportive setting. This term is ACEM-accredited for Anaesthetics – Critical Care. Emergency (6 months): Engage in a FACEM-led Emergency Department, treating 36,500 patients annually, with ample opportunity to develop leadership skills, procedural competence, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Retrieval Medicine Option (6 months): For those who qualify, an optional placement in Retrieval Medicine offers exposure to pre-hospital care and patient retrieval.Benefits
