We're seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join an established team in Leeds. As a key member of our underwriting department, you'll assess and price commercial risks while building strong relationships with their broker network.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and underwrite commercial insurance risks Make sound underwriting decisions within delegated authority Develop and maintain broker relationships Contribute to the team's growth and profitability targets

Requirements:

Proven commercial underwriting experience - it would be ideal if you have experience in SME commercial combined policies Strong technical insurance knowledge Excellent analytical and decision-making skills Effective communication and negotiation abilities It is preferable to have CII qualifications (or working towards)
