Stores Person

With a purpose-built factory and a reputation as a market leader in their field, our client specialises in bespoke products for a wide range of industries.

We are currently recruiting for Stores Person to join a growing manufacturing organisation.

The company is based in Huddersfield, offering easy access from surrounding towns and cities, such as Wakefield, Bradford. Leeds, Dewsbury and Batley.
Key Responsibilities of the Stores Person:

Store goods in designated area, ensuring goods are labelled and scanned into the system. Accept and inspect deliveries for damages for discrepancies. Implement efficient storage solutions to optimize space utilization. Produce reports on stock levels, delivery times and inventory issues. Co-ordinate transport arrangements. Sign off on deliveries and update inventory systems.

Working Hours of the Stores person:

Monday To Thursday: 07:00-16:00 Friday: 07:00-11:45

Minimum skills/ Experienced Required:

Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office/ Ability to use internal systems. Forklift Truck License. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

In Return, the Stores Person will receive:

£28,000-£32,000 Per Annum (Dependant on Experience) Early finish on a Friday Regular overtime paid at premium (time and a half) 24 days holiday per annum (increasing with length in service) Company pension scheme. (employer 5%, employee 3%)
