I’m looking for a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to take responsibility for the smooth running of a busy airport hotel near Schiphol. With over 300 guest rooms, restaurants, and conference facilities, this is a fast-paced environment where your work ensures everything behind the scenes runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Your Experience

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environmentKnowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems (heating, cooling, ventilation, AC)Strong understanding of building safety, compliance, and preventative maintenanceConfident in working with external contractors and suppliersFlexible with working hours, including occasional standby shifts

Your Responsibilities

Conduct routine spot checks and planned preventative maintenance across hotel facilitiesEnsure mechanical and electrical systems are running safely and efficientlyHandle repair requests quickly and professionally, keeping guest safety and comfort a top priorityTake ownership of the building’s overall maintenance, from guest rooms to public areasCollaborate with contractors and external service providers when needed
