Conveyancing Secretary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary / Conveyancing Assistant with 1 year experience in residential conveyancing to join a well-established legal firm. As a Conveyancing Secretary / Conveyancing Assistant, you will handle legal document typing and manage communications with clients, estate agents, lenders, and mortgage advisers. You will be responsible for: ? Ordering and filing pre-contract searches, OS1, and K16 submissions through HMLR. ? Drafting basic contracts, TR1 forms, and completion statements. ? Updating lender portals and requesting redemption statements. ? Completing SDLT returns and filing online applications with HMLR. ? Overseeing diary and file management for case organisation. What we are looking for: ? Previously worked as a Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or in a similar role. ? At least 1 year experience in residential conveyancing. ? Ability to work proactively and support the conveyancing team. ? Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. ?
