A dynamic and forward-thinking IT Services Provider at the forefront of technological innovation are looking for an experienced Linux Sys Admin to join them on a 6 month fixed term basis.

You will spend your time, upgrading operating systems and software, applying security patches, building new systems and decommissioning end-of-life systems, and pro-actively monitoring and maintaining their Linux estate. is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to projects that will shape the future of their IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and security. Oversee web hosting environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the migration project. Implement best practices for system reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Provide technical support and expertise to internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Linux server administration. Strong background in automation and scripting. Familiarity with migration projects and the challenges they present. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
