We pride ourselves on being able to offer our customers the complete in-house solution - from design to delivery. The Opportunity:This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to exercise and refine their skills in connecting parts into more complex components.

You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, using your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision.To succeed in this role, you must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity, as well as being able to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc.

Your aim will be to produce complex outputs by putting together smaller componentsReading and comprehending instructions and following established proceduresCollecting all materials and equipment needed to begin the processTaking precise measurements to ensure perfect fit of componentsSelecting or modifying components according to measurements and specificationsAligning material and putting together parts to build more complex unitsChecking output to ensure highest qualityMaintaining equipment in good conditionKeeping records of production quantities and timeReporting on issues, malfunctions or defective parts
 Person Specification - Mechanical Assembly Technician:
Proven experience as Assembler / Fitter / Mechanical TechnicianTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.Ability to use hand tools and machinesGood understanding of quality control principlesGood communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical conditionHNC or HND from a technical school will be appreciated
