Forklift Engineer

Position: Mobile Forklift Engineer Location: Ipswich and surrounding areas Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year DOE Benefits: - Fully equipped company van with fuel card - Paid travel - Generous company pension - Overtime available at time and a half - Yearly performance-based bonus About the Role: Our client, a reputable independent forklift dealer, is looking for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to cover the Ipswich and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll have the flexibility of working on a range of premium material handling equipment directly at customer sites, delivering high-quality service and repairs in a mobile forklift engineer role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations - Manage job assignments and reporting through a dedicated electronic management system - Liaise with your service controller to ensure efficient scheduling - Uphold safety standards and provide excellent customer service Skills & Experience Required: - 3+ years’ experience in materials handling or a related field.
