IT Support Apprentice

To maintain a high degree of personal and friendly customer service Recording and responding to service desk tickets received by telephone, email or other means Provide first line investigation of both hardware and software faults Resolve basic problems associated with operating systems, network, software, hardware and peripherals To take ownership of issues by carrying out troubleshooting to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the user as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary Other duties in accordance with role and expectations - to be discussed in the interview
