Accounts Apprentice / Payroll Administrator

The suitable candidate will be trained to complete the following tasks.

Prepare book keeping for various clients using either excel or Sage Accounts Prepare VAT returns and file online Prepare working papers for year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Process payroll monthly/ weekly Send payroll RTI reports Ad-hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate must be able to learn to manage their own workload and communicate with clients, answering any queries in a timely and effective manner.

There will be the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience in all aspects of accountancy.



Training:

The apprentice iwll be expected to attend college one day per week to study towards the AAT Level 3 qualification.

In addition, the apprentice will be allocated with an assessor who will visit them within the workplace, once every 6-8 weeks.



Training Outcome:

There is the potential for a permanent position on completion of this apprenticeship.
