Mechanical & Electrical Technician Apprentice
Ensure that all assembly operations including control panel manufacture are carried out effectively and in compliance with agreed working procedures
To undertake electrical or mechanical assembly work as per workshop instructions
Ensure that your respective panels and projects are completed to a satisfactory standard and that all issues arising during the assembly work are dealt with immediately and in a professional manner. Liaise with colleagues if necessary
Identify non-conforming items and raise non-conformance reports in line with the company procedure
Ensure that all documentation used prior, during or resulting from panel manufacture or assembly work are controlled in accordance with company’s quality, environmental and health and safety procedure and management system and are completed promptly
Ensure that the control panel & workshop shop is maintained as a safe working environment
Assist with the safe loading and unloading of machines in and out of the Workshop as required
If deemed necessary by constraints of the business you may be required to carry out tasks outside of your core responsibility
Training:
Engineering Fitter Level 3
On the job
One day per week college attendance
Training Outcome:
May lead to permanent employment for the right candidate on completion of the apprenticeship.
