Painter & Decorator apprentice

Working on domestic and commercial properties where the successful applicant will work internally or externally as part of an experienced team to provide Painting and Decorating services in keeping with each client’s individual specification and requirements.

In the main our work is for major contractors working on the local councils housing stock, so typically you would be working in peoples homes painting kitchens, bathrooms & other rooms.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Learning all aspects of painting and decorating whilst working on domestic and commercial projects Be totally committed to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction through the quality of the end result Increasing your Skills and knowledge of different materials, tools and techniques throughout duration of the apprenticeship and ensuring their use in a safe and professional manner as part of a safe working environment to ensure you are not a risk to yourself, colleagues or members of the public Assisting colleagues to ensure timely and quality project outcomes Ensuring at all times that the project is carried out and maintained with the utmost care, tidiness and housekeeping and ultimate respect for the client’s property and projects vision Tools equipment and resources are vital to successful outcomes and as such should be respected, maintained, cleaned and stored as requested

We are looking for someone with the following personal attributes/skills:

Training:
Training will be at Barking & Dagenham College - 1 day a week

Training Outcome:
Unlimited prospect depending on capability of candidate
