Workshop Apprentice

The apprentice will develop the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in their role of an HGV Workshop Technician.

Installation of products and ancillary equipment to HGV chassis Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas Completing call job related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and in compliance with the company's safety rules / procedures and with regulations and codes of practice.  Support the company’s efforts to reduce accidents / incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in Safety Walks, Safety Audits and 5S events etc. 

Training:
You will be required to attend college at the London Rd, Shrewsbury Colleges Group, Campus twice a week, with the remainder of the working week in the workplace.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 5:15pm. Friday, 8.00am to 1.00pm.
