Finance Assistant Apprentice AAT Level 2

This list is not considered to be exhaustive, but to provide an illustrative representation of the nature of the duties that the Apprentice will be involved in and the experience/ development that will be gained.

Purchase Ledger - Post supplier invoices to Sage50, reconcile supplier statements and request copy invoices and credit notes. Raise weekly/monthly payments in a timely manner. Sales Ledger- Invoice clients from data supplied. Credit Control - Take a proactive role in maintaining the debtor's ledger, collecting overdue debt by telephone and email. Develop relationships with clients. Weekly Bookwork - Collate, check, file & chase up any missing book work. Analysing Data on SageSO & Excel Reconciliation - Bank and Credit Card Accounts. Month End Checks I preparation for running monthly accounts. General Administration - General accounts tasks, various admin duties including but not limited to answering the phone, monitoring incoming emails, filing and more.

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship there will be an opportunity to discuss going forward to complete level 3 AAT qualification.

Coombs Catering is an independently owned contract catering company with a true family feel. Our Head office is based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, with sites across the country. We possess over 35 years' experience in the Catering, Hospitality and Services Arena.

Working Hours :
Monday- Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm (1/2hr lunch). Friday, 8.00am - 2.00pm (1/2hr lunch).
