A reputable engineering company in Clitheroe is seeking a Yard Man/Delivery Driver to join the team. This role requires a reliable individual with a clean driving license and a willingness to assist in yard operations and delivery tasks.

Yarn Man/Delivery Driver Roles and Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently loading and delivering goods to customers Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicle maintenance is up to standard Supporting the warehouse team with stock control and handling Moving materials and equipment within the yard Assisting in general yard duties and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols Liaising with customers professionally during deliveries

Candidate Requirements

Clean driving license (essential) Previous experience in a similar role (advantageous but not essential) Good communication and customer service skills Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Physically fit and capable of manual handling Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

The Package
This is a temporary, Yard man role,39 hours per week for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
