Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship

· Adhere & implement policies and procedures at all times

(Safeguarding, Child Protection, Health and Safety, Medication, Behaviour etc)

· To work as part of a team and use own initiative to assist in carrying out the daily routine of room they are based in

· To assist in implementing EYFS within setting and contribute activity ideas to weekly planning and the development of display boards

· To assist with meeting children’s individual needs

· Reporting of Accidents to Senior Staff

· To assist in recording children’s personal daily record sheets.

· Ensure cleaning routines are followed.

· To assist in the safe keeping of all toys and equipment, searching and recovering lost pieces.

· To maintain child:staff ratio.

Training:

Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard

Level 2 Diploma Early Years Practitioner

Support with English and maths (if required)

Work based learning

End Point Assessment

 

 

Training Outcome:

Village Bears will offer ongoing employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday. Hours on a rota basis between 7.00am and 6.00pm agreed in advance.
