Childcare Apprenticeship - Mitcham

As a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced practitioners to support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development. Support the daily routines of the nursery, including mealtimes, naps, and outdoor play.  Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the team to support individual learning needs. Help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted standards and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Attend team meetings and training sessions as required. Complete assignments and coursework for the Level 2 Childcare qualification.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Practitioner – Level 2

Training Outcome:

Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.

Monday-Friday (08:00-15:00) - Early Finish Fridays.
