Childcare Apprenticeship - Leicester

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about childcare and the development of each individual child to reach their full potential. 

You will gain experience of working with all the ages and learning about all the children's needs and development. We are registered with OFSTED and cater for up to 31 children aged 0-5 years. We offer free grant funded spaces for 2 to 4 year olds! Get in contact to find out more.

Responsibilities include:

To ensure children are kept safe and that Safeguarding Procedures are followed. Operate a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children To work in partnership with parents/carers to pass on information that will be beneficial to the individual child To plan for EYFS and keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. courses, staff meetings, parents evenings etc. To comply with all the policies and procedures that are set out by the nursery

Training:

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator Level 3.

Training Outcome:

Possibility of a full-time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
