Apprentice Office Administrator - J3383

CORE PURPOSE

You will have opportunity to discover and learn about different business operations within Bespoke Mentoring such as human resources (HR), administration, mentoring, project management and marketing.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What will the apprentice be doing?

In your first year you will cover all aspects of administration including; HR, safeguarding procedures, finance support, marketing and media and operations. In your second year you will have the opportunity to specialise in an area of the business you feel you would like to progress in. The Business Administrator Apprentice plays a pivotal role in supporting efficient operations within the apprenticeship provision. They undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks and maintaining records which is supported by the senior administers within the provision. They will assist in organising meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating office activities. The apprentice will learn to use various office software and systems, gaining proficiency in tasks such as data entry, report generation, and email correspondence. The apprentice will also liaise with colleagues, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills. Throughout their apprenticeship, they will receive training and guidance to develop their organisational abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Overall, apprenticeship offer a dynamic and rewarding career path with the potential for long-term success and fulfilment.

Training:

This training is delivered in the workplace.

The Apprenticeship standard consists of:

Level 3 Business Administration Functional Skills Maths and English (If required) Technical Competencies Technical knowledge and understanding Underpinning skills, attitudes and behaviours End point assessment

You will need to pass an endpoint assessment in the form of a multiple-choice assessment, a project presentation and a portfolio interview.

Competency is assessed through a combination of methods in the workplace and you are visited regularly by your assessor. On completion, you will have gained knowledge about employment rights and responsibilities and will have the following qualifications in addition to the apprenticeship:

Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in English (if applicable) Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in Mathematics (if applicable) Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in Information and Communication Technology (if applicable)
