Apprentice Service Engineer

You will initially be depot based, however, as skills and knowledge grow, you will accompany experienced engineers to customer sites.

As an Apprentice Service Engineer you will gain knowledge and experience with:

Maintenance, service, repair & inspection of diesel and electric pump plant; Hose repair and inspection; Assist with damage reports understanding fault finding and processing; Maintain your own work area, whether on customers’ or Exsel sites in a clean and tidy state; Assist in keeping the depot in a clean & tidy state; All small tools or equipment used to be kept in good condition; Any defects found must be reported to the supervisor; To comply with all PPE requirements, either by Exsel or specific customer site regulations.

Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
