Business Administration Apprentice
To have at all times excellent attention to detail ensure all information is accurate, submitted and stored correctly without error
Assist in the maintaining of Learner records using learner management system PICS including adding new starts and recording completions
To assist in registering Learners for qualifications and checking results
Provide a reception service by ensuring all telephone calls and emails are answered in line with company policy and in a timely manner
Assist with customer enquiries both on the phone and via email and judge how best to assist and signpost accordingly
Assist in the bookings of exams for Apprentices and supporting with invigilation of exam sessions complying with examination guidance
Sign for and receive parcels, documents, and post
Attend meetings and taking minutes
Responsible for assisting in general office duties, such as scanning, posting, and maintaining office supplies
Training:
With on-the-job training from the employer the apprentice will work towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Training can be delivered remotely or at the workplace every four weeks.
Training Outcome:
On successful completion of this Apprenticeship, you would have the skills that could help you progress into a permanent administrative support role. There is the potential to apply for a job within the council, should one become available.

Part of Waverley Borough Council, Waverley Training Services has been running education programmes for over thirty years. We offer Apprenticeship programmes in Business Administration, Customer Service, Accounting, Leadership and Management and Supporting Teaching and Learning. We run these programmes both internally and with Employers across Surrey, Hampshire, and Sussex borders. Waverley Training Services were recently inspected by Ofsted and were graded as ‘Good’ across all themes. During your Apprenticeship you will work with experienced colleagues, gaining job- specific transferable skills, earning a wage including holiday pay, as well as studying towards a nationally recognised qualification with Waverley Training Services with allocated time to complete your work alongside monthly sessions with your Tutor. Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm with 37 mins lunch.
