Following appropriate policies, procedures and systems ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children are always met To become involved in children’s activities to stimulate and extend their learning To demonstrate sensitivity toward children and families within the facility Assisting in the admission and induction of new children Assisting in the maintenance of all necessary records to meet internal, E.Y.D.C.P and Ofsted requirements To take an active role in the promotion of excellent health and safety practices To respond effectively to any health and safety issues that may arise and report any necessary matters To participate in training and meetings as requested by the management team Performing any other duties commensurate with the general nature of the position requested by the management team

Training:

Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard:

Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) End-Point Assessment (EPA) Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) Paediatric First Aid qualification

Training Outcome:
For the successful candidate, there is the opportunity of ongoing employment.

Your child will have fun while learning in our brightly themed jungle look rooms. Learning about caring and sharing with others, and helping your child become a competent and confident learner. Our trained caring staff will build a sound relationship with Parents and Carers to enable us all to give your child the best possible start in early education and to cater for your child's individual needs. All our staff will have regular training and the nursery will aim to achieve the highest possible standards of care for your child. Our staff will maintain developmental records for your child that will be passed on to your Childs school, when they leave the nursery. You are free to look at your child's records at any time. At Leo's Den Nursery we want learning to be FUN, FUN, FUN.

Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed.
