Print Finishing (Laminating/Guillotine) Apprenticeship
Responsibilities would include:
Liaising with Team Leaders/Factory shift managers to ensure all jobs are completed on time in full Moving jobs around the production floor using pallet trucks and electric wheels Ensuring the area is kept clean and tidy Train and learn the processes to run the machines to customers and external compliance standards Quality assurance Comply with site EMS procedures Complete maintenance activities Follow Health & safety requirementsTraining:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the qualification obtained will be a L3 Print Technician Apprenticeship Standard (post-press pathway).
The apprentice will be given sufficient time to undertake their "Off-the-Job" requirement of the apprenticeship.
Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by both Elanders and the BPIF. You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available.
Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit your individual needs and business needs. Most training and studying will be site based.
Training Outcome:
Career progression for a successful apprentice would include becoming a fully qualified operator and part of the Finishing Team with a full time, permanent role.
