Senior Flexible Pipeline Engineer

As a Riser System Engineer specializing in flexible pipe systems, you'll work under the guidance of the Principal Engineer and engage with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team. What You Will Do: Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand their needs and develop technical specifications for flexible pipe suppliers. Interface with project teams and work closely with engineering and supply chain management (SCM) to ensure seamless project execution. Support the selection process for flexible pipe suppliers through detailed technical evaluations. Plan, review, and detail technical documentation related to flexible pipe systems, subsea hardware, and topside interfaces. Develop and manage design packages and studies for the sizing and analysis of dynamic riser systems and static jumper systems. Lead and check design analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as API 17J, DnV, ISO, and internal guidelines. Ensure supplier progress and compliance, closely collaborating with the SCM function for successful project delivery. Participate in key project events, including Bid Clarifications, Design Reviews, and HIRAs, ensuring all procedures meet project objectives. Provide engineering assistance during mobilizations, including offshore site work and FATs, SITs, and Pre-commissioning support. Mentor and support colleagues, transferring knowledge and participating in discipline meetings to foster continuous improvement. Your Expertise: Advanced Degree: MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Hydrodynamics, or a related field. Industry Experience: Proven track record in the oil and gas industry, particularly with riser systems (rigid, flexible, or umbilical). Software Proficiency: Expertise in OrcaFlex software for dynamic riser analysis. Fluent in English: Strong communication skills are essential.
