Position: Senior Psychological Therapist
Location: Jersey, Channel Islands
Salary: Up to £73,300 per annum + Benefits & Enhancements
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Meditalent is seeking a Senior Psychological Therapist to join our client based in Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within the Psychological Assessment and Therapy Service/Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
As a Senior Psychological Therapist, you will play a pivotal role within the Psychological Assessment and Therapy Service/Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Jersey.
You will provide leadership and clinical supervision to junior team members while delivering high-intensity interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). Your focus will be on clients facing severe and complex psychological difficulties, including co-morbid conditions and complex trauma, delivering evidence-based treatments that enhance mental health outcomes for adults, including those transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to adult services.

What We’re Looking For?
Accreditation: Registration with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or eligibility for registration with HCPC. Education: Postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) aligned with the IAPT programme or an equivalent professional qualification. Advanced Training: Additional advanced training in CBT or other evidence-based therapies such as DBT, ACT, EMDR, CAT, or IPT, including supervision skills. Experience: At least five years of post-qualification experience providing evidence-based psychological therapies to adults with mental health issues.Why Choose This Opportunity?
