Team Manager - Safeguarding

A re-shaped East London Local Authority is looking for a Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team.

As the Team Manager, you will be planning, managing and developing statutory social work.
This role is a full-time, and permanent position.

As the ideal Team Manager, you will have Children’s and Families experience along with Leadership/ Management experience.

You will need to be committed and have the drive to match this developing Local Authority.

Your responsibilities as the Team Manager:

Authorise budget expenditure
Provide leadership and support for staff
Ensure all staff receive effective supervision, appraisal and support
Carry out file audits and sharing practice and learning points

Requirements of you as the Team Manager:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid HCPC registration
Significant experience of working within Fostering
Experience of working in a Children and family’s environment
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: East London
Salary: up to £55,000 + retention bonus
