What you will be doing
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer (Machines and Facilities) to manage the facilities, infrastructure, and assets of our client’s business. You will leverage your skills and coordinate a network of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness across all operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain and improve the availability of CNC and manual machinery, plant, and infrastructure through a preventative maintenance programme. Implement current HSE legislation, including certification, monitoring, and inspection within your areas of responsibility. Assist with the maintenance of building security across all facilities. Ensure facilities, equipment, and machinery are available to maximise productivity. Deliver facilities-related projects on schedule, within budget, and to agreed requirements. Proactively support day-to-day maintenance activities across multiple sites. Maintain, improve, and report on industrially recognised Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What we are looking for
Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management. Strong experience in preventative and reactive maintenance of CNC and manual machining centres. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, and mechanical systems is highly desirable. Proven experience in managing large, complex projects. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with complex maintenance programmes and SAP is desirable.
