Apprentice Painter and Decorator
Assist with surface preparation, masking, and priming
Apply paints, stains, and finishes to walls, ceilings, and fixtures
Maintain tools, equipment, and site cleanliness
Follow health & safety protocols and site rules
Attend college or training sessions as required
Training:
Painting and Decorating, Level 2.
Weekly attendance at Riverside College, Widnes.
Training Outcome:
The role will lead to a qualified tradesperson role within the business.
Employer Description:
Commercial construction specialists with over 50 years of experience in the industry. We undertake construction projects such as refurbishment and new build for clients in the commercial sector of construction, including Nuclear, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and beverage production and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). We mostly operate in Merseyside and Cheshire regions on our client’s facilities. We employ almost 70 people and have a team of site based tradespeople who in conjunction with our supply chain undertake the work.
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:30. Friday, 08:00 - 15:30. The Apprentice will work 39 hours each week as standard, overtime may be required from time to time.
