Apprentice Dental Nurse

The role will involve:

Assisting Dentists/Hygienists/Therapists in surgery Patient care, chair side support Supporting dental care delivery and working as part of a team to execute a first-class service Decontamination and other duties relevant to the role of apprentice dental nurse

Training:
Dental nurse (integrated) Level 3 qualification undertaken with Sandwell College; lessons will take place within the practice with an assessor attending once per week It is an essential requirement that you have GCSE of equivalent qualifications in English and maths at a minimum of grade C/4 to undertake this apprenticeship. Proof of GCSE grades/predicted grades should be shown at interview

Training Outcome:
Once qualified nurses will be required to register with the GDC. Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of Dental nurse (integrated) Level 3 apprenticeship

Employer Description:
Mixed NHS and private dental practice located in Great Barr, Birmingham. 5 surgery, 2 storey practice with multi-skilled team.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 including scheduled college lessons. Occasional weekend mornings on a rota basis once competent in surgery.
